Where can I take my microwave for recycling?

The Canadian Electrical Stewardship Association (CESA), in partnership with Product Care Association, has launched the Unplugged recycling program for small electrical appliances. As of October 1, 2011, small appliances, including microwaves, can be dropped off for free at a number of Unplugged depots across the province. All items should be returned in a clean state with no food and liquids. Contact the RCBC Recycling Hotline or visit the Unplugged website to find the nearest drop-off location.
