	Organics Working Group Report: Best Practices for Multi-Family Food Scraps Collection Released: March 2011 The research for this report was completed with the assistance and collaboration of the Recycling Council of BC's Organics Working Group. This report provides municipalities, regional governments and other interested parties with multi-family food scrap collection best practices to date.
	Organics Working Group Report: Recommendations for Residential Collection Released: October 1, 2009 Summary: This report is the complete list of recommendations developed by the Organics Working Group most relevant for collection programs designed to service single family homes. Disclaimer: RCBC reports are reviewed on a regular basis to reflect changes due to technological advances.
	On the Road to Zero Waste: Priorities for Local Governments Released: June 22, 2009 Summary: This report provides guidance to municipal and regional governments across B.C. on the actions, tools and opportunities available to them to increase the 3Rs and move closer to achieving zero waste.
	Examining the Waste-to-Energy Option Released: October 24, 2008 Summary: The Recycling Council of B.C. (RCBC) has produced a background paper which examines the current waste-to-energy discussion within Metro Vancouver and, in particular, examines the proposal by Plasco Energy, since this company has provided one of the more detailed, serious and innovative proposals to Metro Vancouver.
	RCBC Backgrounder: 'Degradable Plastic Bags' Released: November 3, 2008 Summary: As the use of degradable plastic increases, so does the confusion surrounding the environmental claims put forward by the degradable bag industry. RCBC has created this backgrounder with the hope of better informing the public, elected officials and the media.

B.C. Municipal Solid Waste Tracking Reports

The B.C. Ministry of Environment has been tracking progress in reducing the amount of municipal solid waste (MSW) requiring disposal by means of annual MSW Tracking Reports, containing data supplied by regional districts.
