CPIA Webinar: New Paradigm for Polystyrene Foam Packaging Recycling - March 8, 2012
British Columbia’s Recycling Regulation will change the face of the provinces’ material recovery programs for printed materials and packaging. The new dynamics will demand that efforts to recover plastics packaging be intensified to meet regulatory objectives. That means yesterday’s challenges are today’s opportunities. Advancements in technologies and new markets are driving recycling of a broader range of non-bottle rigid plastics packaging. This webinar will focus on Polystyrene Foam, a substantial component of the commercial and residential non-bottle plastics packaging stream. Every spring, RCBC hosts its annual conference in various locations across B.C. For 38 years, many look forward to attending RCBC's Annual Conference - one of B.C.'s premier events on recycling, and waste reduction.
This year, the conference will be held in Whistler, BC at the Westin Resort and Spa frm May 23-25, 2012. The RCBC Annual General Meeting will also be held during the conference on May 23.

Each year the Recycling Council of B.C. recognizes the valuable contribution that individuals and organizations make towards the preservation and protection of British Columbia's environment.
The 2012 RCBC Environmental Awards will be presented at our 38th Annual Zero Waste Conference on May 24, 2012.
