Annual Conference

By the end of the next decade, the majority of B.C.'s solid waste will be divided into two streams: organics, managed by local government, and consumer-related materials, managed through extended producer responsibility (EPR) programs. That future starts now as we plan the transition from a taxpayer-funded system to one paid for by end users in which industry manages its products through the entire lifecycle, in a closed loop system, cradle to cradle.
