Member Advisory Notice of Consultation on BC Stewardship Plan for HVACR and Plumbing Products |

Dear Member: In accordance with the BC Recycling Regulation 449/2004, the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI), the Air Conditioning Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH), Canadian Water Quality Association (CWQA) and the Canadian Association of Pump Manufacturers (CAPM) have submitted a stewardship plan to the BC Ministry of Environment on behalf of the HVACR & plumbing industries. The regulation requires that each plan submitted be made available for stakeholder consultation with groups in the province who would have an interest in the industry. View a copy of the plan for the HVACR and plumbing industries for your review (minus Appendix B/statistics). As a stakeholder group in BC, you are invited to submit written comments on the plan to the sponsoring organizations. We would appreciate if your comments were submitted to the undersigned by November 4, 2011. Your participation in this review process is appreciated.
