	Member Advisory Notice of Consultation on BC Major Appliance Stewardship Program
Dear Member: The Canadian Appliance Manufacturers Association (CAMA) and the Retail Council of Canada (RCC) invite you to attend public consultation events being hosted to review their draft stewardship plan for major appliances in British Columbia. The BC Major Appliance Stewardship Plan has been prepared by CAMA and RCC, pursuant to the requirements of the BC Recycling Regulation. The plan describes a proposed system to build on and support the successful market-driven system for major appliances that operates in British Columbia today. View the draft BC Major Appliance Stewardship Plan A series of public consultation events (in-person meetings and webinars) are scheduled from November 29-30 to provide an opportunity for public consultation and feedback on this plan. In-person meetings will be held in Victoria and Greater Vancouver and dedicated webinars will be held for the Southern Interior and Northern BC regions. In addition, a general audience webinar will also be held for those unable to make the other scheduled events. Deadline for submission for written comments is December 12, 2011.
