Waste Reduction Week in Canada 2009

Since 2001, National Waste Reduction Week in Canada (WRW) has been organized by a coalition of non-government, not-for-profit environment groups, including RCBC, from each of the 13 participating provincial and territorial jurisdictions across Canada.

Mark your calendars for October 19-25, 2009!

As the highlight of this weeklong event, RCBC will be launching our Road To Zero Waste! environmental education program. The program features an in-class presentation and resource kit for teachers to assist in incorporating environmental education in their classroom. It is designed for grade 5 students and meets the prescribed learning outcomes for various subjects.
